Adel Chefridi's Mediterranean Modern Classics

I discoverd Adel Chefridi 4-5 years ago, while wandering through the Union Square Holiday Market (November 22 through December 28, 2008) in New York City. I instantly fell in love with his work. I’m usually not a fan of gold but the shade of pale gold and the finish combined with the use of alternatives to diamonds like morganite, rubellite, tourmaline , iolite and sapphires has helped change my mind. His ring carries the allure of an ancient Mediterranean beauty of a royal court.

Tourmaline and Diamond Ring priced at 1200$
The main stone just screams I love you with its brilliant red.The accent diamond are set delicately in a narrow band. Also according to the site you can also get
green tourmaline as well. One could do a combination with one of the thin bands he make with small diamonds as a wedding ring.

Rubellite (pink to red Tourmaline) and ruby accents. 18k yellow gold with a satin finish. Priced at 2500$. This is a really stellar combo of gold and pink. The band has a bit of thickness to it that is well used with the addition of the accent stones.

Morganite faceted 10mm by 12mm. 18k yellow gold. pave diamonds on the band. Priced at 1500$.
I've seen a few rings with a Morganite. The center stone in this particular ring is very pretty. A nice alternative to a pink diamond.

The bride to be should also check out his other pieces to finish her bridal look on that special day.
